PNM Foundation Power-Up Grant

Friends of the Library, in partnership with the Rio Rancho Public Library, was awarded a PNM Foundation “Power Up” grant for $19,995. The grant was used to design, purchase and install a shade-sail cover, transforming a hot, underutilized concrete patio at the Loma Colorado Main Library into a vibrant outdoor classroom and community gathering space. Its dedication was April 21, 2017.
