Bookstores
Friends’ Shop ~ within Loma Colorado Main Library
Usually open Mon-Thurs, 10 am-7 pm, and Fri-Sat, 10 am-5 pm, this full-service bookstore carries a variety of gently used and nearly new CDs, DVDs, puzzles, hardcover and paperback fiction and nonfiction books for all ages. Also in stock are large capacity brand-new book bags, our very own brand-new first-edition Friends of the Library cookbooks (containing hundreds of recipes), and framed photographs donated by Don Wolf. Any or all make great gifts!
Here in our larger bookstore, our volunteers can give you a 10% discount (when you present your current membership card at checkout), accept your membership application and payment, record your contact information (if you would like to volunteer), and provide receipts for your donations of books.
Please, only bring your donations of books to this library location and kindly place them in the “hutch” on this library’s outside north wall. Storage limitations prevent us from accepting donations of books at Esther Bone Memorial Library.
The Friendshop ~ within Esther Bone Memorial Library
Open during this library’s business hours, this self-service smaller bookstore carries new book bags and used books. Books offered for sale in this shop are arranged A-Z, grouped by the first letter of the author’s last name.
