That’s right. Friends of the Library of Rio Rancho will have been incorporated for 30 years as of May 27, 2012!

Please help us fully celebrate and give thanks to the hundreds of selfless volunteers who, over these years, have grown the Friends, encouraged literacy and the development and expansion of our Books for Babies programs and outreach, and increased the community’s awareness and use of Rio Rancho’s public libraries. Their efforts have included volunteering:

• in our bookstores,
• with our booksales,
• on committees,
• on our board,
• on our advisory council,
• with pricing and sorting donated items,
• with online sales,
• with library construction fundraisers,
• with bowl-a-thons, cookbook creation, and other fundraisers,
• to create and distribute our newsletters,
• to create and maintain our web site,
• as historians,
• on many other projects.
